About our Academy Ambassador
Pete Langford (of The Barron Knights)
At LGA Performing Arts, we are proud to offer more than just children’s dance, drama, and musical theatre classes—we offer inspiration, mentorship, and connection to the world of professional show business.
Our academy ambassador, Peter Langford, brings a wealth of real-world experience to our vibrant performing arts community. Peter is not only the proud grandfather of Lillia Grace—he’s also a celebrated member of the legendary 60s/70s group The Barron Knights.
With a career that includes tours with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, recording at Abbey Road Studios, and performances at Buckingham Palace and The London Palladium, Peter’s story is one of passion, dedication, and success in the entertainment industry.

He truly knows everything there is to know about the world of music, stage, and showbiz—making him the perfect ambassador for LGA Performing Arts.
In Peter’s Words – Lillia’s Favourite Story:
“It was early 1968 and we were recording in Abbey Road Studio 1, while The Beatles were in Studio 2. John and Paul came in to listen to what we were working on, and Paul asked if we’d like to hear what they were recording. He sat at the big black grand piano and sang ‘Hey Jude’. It was special to know we were the first ever to hear that song.”
“Our session pianist at the time was Reg Dwight—now known as Elton John. To this day, he hasn’t forgotten that we introduced him to John and Paul.”
Peter and Lillia regularly perform together at charity events, sharing the legacy and joy of live performance. Here's a clip of them singing 'The Joker and The Queen' at The Stables in
Milton Keynes in February 2025:
